Goldsboro is located in eastern North Carolina and is the seat of Wayne County. Goldsboro offers an ideal living environment for those seeking to escape big-city traffic while enjoying the recreational activities provided by the ocean and intracoastal waterways.

Goldsboro plays a key role in supporting our military and national defense initiatives and is proud to be home to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Seymour Johnson hosts the 4th Fighter Wing and the 916th Air Refueling Wing, both of which have received top honors from the Air Force for their achievements and community support.
