SMS Texting Terms
Effective Date: April 1 2025
Atlantic Casualty Insurance Company (“ACIC”) sends informational and transactional text messages to individuals who have opted in to this Text Messaging Program.
The following terms and conditions apply to ACIC’s Text Messaging Program. By providing your phone number and agreeing to this SMS Texting Terms, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions herein.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to receive text messages through the Text Messaging Program. You must also be a U.S. resident.
Purpose and Content
SMS messages sent as part of ACIC’s Text Messaging Program will be used for transmitting information regarding your insurance claim, inquiry, or employment application.
Information obtained as part of your consent to receive SMS text messages will not be shared with third parties or ACIC affiliates, other than ACIC’s SMS texting service provider.
Consent
By providing your mobile telephone number(s) to ACIC and/or any third-party agency acting on their behalf, you opt-in and agree that ACIC may communicate with you at such number(s) via SMS text messages, for the purposes stated herein, generated by an automatic telephone dialing system even if the mobile telephone number(s) is listed on any federal or state do-not-call list. By providing your mobile telephone number(s), you represent and warrant that you are the subscriber for the telephone number(s) provided and you possess the phone(s) associated with such numbers.
By opting in, you accept and agree to be bound by ACIC’s Privacy Policy, and you consent to the processing of your personal information as set forth in those policies.
Frequency
Frequency of text messages may vary per user and depending on subject matter.
Charges
ACIC does not charge you for sending or receiving SMS text messages, but standard carrier message and data rates may apply. Please check your mobile service carrier’s pricing plan to determine the charges associated with sending and receiving text messages.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of the Text Messaging Program at any time by replying “STOP” to any message sent via the Text Messaging Program. If you do so, you will receive a confirmation message from ACIC and no further text messages will be sent to you from ACIC unless you re-subscribe to the Text Messaging Program.

Carriers
The Text Messaging Program may not be available on all wireless carriers. Mobile access and text message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability. Such access and delivery is not guaranteed. Neither mobile carriers nor ACIC are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
